A successful Junior .NET Developer will have the following: 

  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or two years related experience and/or training; and two plus years of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 1-2 years experience developing applications in .NET environment .Net 4.0 or above preferred. C# languages preferred.
  • 1-2 years experience in any SQL language preferred.
  • Experience maintaining and configuring IIS 6.0 or IIS 7.0 preferred.
  • Experience with Visual Studio 2010, or newer versions, required; experience with Lambda and LINQ a plus.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.

The Junior .NET Developer will design, develop, test, enhance, document, and deploy web pages, sites and applications as requested by the organization and will assist in maintaining said products. 

 

Primary Responsibilities Fall into the following categories: 

  • Work hands-on and provide the technical knowledge in the design, development, implementation, maintenance, and support of the enterprise information systems.
  • Analyze information system requirements, create designs, and provide documentation by utilizing DISH Network specified tools and methodologies.
  • Provide information system technology solutions by adhering to DISH Network prescribed life-cycle tools and methodologies.
  • May provide a variety of services ranging from day-to-day support, maintenance, design, development, and trouble-shooting to improve, advance, or simplify DISH Network business processes.
  • May define standards and procedures, refine methods and techniques for information modeling and best practices for application software development and deployment.
