A mid-sized Indiana manufacturing company has an immediate need for a production supervisor.

Job Description

The purpose of the Production Supervisor is to lead a team of hourly associates in a way that promotes a safe, quality, and clean work environment while running efficient production. They will supervise line leaders and machine operators and other production related personnel. They are responsible for:

• Maintaining a safe work environment through achieving Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in all accident and near-miss categories.
• Maintaining all inventory levels, equipment, and tools so to eliminate scrap and maintain efficient production.
• Filling in for the Department Manager when necessary by attending meetings, production calls, etc.
• Counting raw materials inventory daily and completing scrap transactions to reconcile daily.
• Checking on equipment and supply needs daily.
• Ordering supplies and tools when needed weekly.
• Leading all pre-shift meetings to set daily expectations with associates daily.

Job Qualifications

• 3+ Years of experience in a Production Supervision or similar leadership roles
• Bachelor's Degree is highly preferred, minimum of an Associate's Degree is required
• Must have a high level of commitment to Safety, Quality, and Team Development

Additional Info

• Standard work schedule is 12 hour shifts on a rotating schedule
• Occasional mandatory overtime
