Warehouse Worker

All warehouse workers will be involved in the below activities:

• Picking/pull orders with paper pick sheets
• Lifting boxes that weight 40-75lbs regularly
• Loading/unloading trucks with all produce products
• Consistently going in and out of refrigerated storage rooms
• Performing cycle counts
• Basic visual quality control checks of product
• Constant use of pallet jacks and hand trucks
• Occasional use of forklifts
• Knowledge of proper stacking & palletizing processes
• No food allergies to fruits or vegetables

First Day/Week: Will shadow a senior warehouse associate for the first couple of weeks and then will be held to 100 picked items per hour by 60 days into the job (performance metrics)

Work Environment:

They specialize in the distribution of all produce (fruits & vegetables) to grocery stores. On the night shift there are 100 employees in the warehouse, most of whom are on forklifts & pallet jacks. There is constant movement and things can get pretty fast. Qualified candidates must be comfortable in an environment like this.

• Normal shift is 8 hrs, but candidates need to be comfortable to work 12 hrs
• Day Shift(6AM-4PM)
• Night Shift(4PM- 4AM)(8PM-6AM)
• Split Days off (will always have Saturday off and then one other day throughout the week)
