SUMMARY
Ralph Lauren is seeking a Senior Producer to manage production of on-figure imagery at the Ralph Lauren New York studio. Responsibilities include the booking and scheduling of studios, the hiring and management of freelance and staff talent, the production of feature shoots, and employee development. The Senior Producer will own studio performance metrics, financial tracking, staffing and the production of features shoots. Superior critical-thinking and problem-solving abilities are a must, along with the ability to manage competing priorities between and across business groups.
? Manage a production team responsible for scheduling RL, wholesale and Club Monaco shoots to meet sales timelinesBuild out a production team and provide training and mentoring on creative project management and studio operationsOwn capacity planning of studio space for short and long term optimization. Work with studio operations head to develop processes that drive quality and reduce timelinesBuild and manage the adherence to qualitative and quantitative studio metricsOwn Freelance budgeting and cost allocations in partnership with the finance department and studio operations analyst. Prepare documentation needed to ensure proper cost center allocation and budget transparencyProduce feature shoots in partnership with our in-house advertising, marketing, merchandising and wholesale divisions; tasks include budget creation/management, talent booking, location scouting, permitting, transportation, catering etc.Building and maintaining relevant pool of freelance talent (photographers, stylists, assistant stylist, hair and makeup, tailors, etc.) through industry connectionsNegotiate rates and fees for talent sourcesWork with talent agencies to organize castings for male and female models across all brand and Club MonacoManage day-to day studio operations, such as catering, studio allocation and talent relations
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES BA or BS degree
5 +years as a producer in a high volume or direct fashion business required
Proven leadership and people development skills, as well as experience leading a multi-functional or multi-location organization
Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to effectively interact at all levels of the organization
Understanding of permits for location shoots
Demonstrated experience leading and developing teams of associates at multiple levels with multiple skill sets
Results-driven work ethic with the ability to manage multiple projects and resources effectively
Strategic vision and ability to execute programs with measurable impact
Demonstrated superior critical thinking and problem solving abilities
Strong business and financial acumen
