We are seeking an inspiring and innovative leader to serve as the Vice President of Non-Leisure Sales. Reporting to the SVP, Global Sales, Worldwide Travel Operations & CMR, and President of Walt Disney Travel Company, the Vice President will lead a team of 275+ cast members responsible for all U.S based Non-Leisure sales at the Walt Disney World Resort, the Disneyland Resort and Disney's Aulani Resort and Spa which includes: Resort Sales (Groups, Conventions, Associations, etc), Disney Institute Sales, Youth Event Sales, Sports Event Sales and Wedding Sales. He/she will work collaboratively with the Marketing & Sales Strategy teams, as well as, the Non-Leisure Operations teams to design the strategic direction and optimize the collective value for the complete portfolio of Non-Leisure businesses. In addition, the Vice President will have a strong focus within the non-leisure consumer industry, its intermediaries and the industry technologies.

Responsibilities Ensure the strategic direction is translated into a functional sales strategy and an actionable plan for our highly complex and diverse sales teams in order to deliver revenue goals. Lead a large, high energy sales team anchored in driving revenue and transformation. Establish a strong partnership with the executive leadership team within Global Marketing & Sales as well as key executives across the Parks & Resorts business. Maintain a strong focus within the non-leisure consumer industry including understanding consumers and their needs to meet and exceed their expectations in a differentiated way Create a positive culture amongst the Non-Leisure Sales organizations with a strong focus on communication, collaboration and innovation. Basic Qualifications 10+ years proven contemporary executive leadership experience in the travel industry including a strong focus with non-leisure sales and clients Proven experience leading teams within the B2B sales environment Proven experience driving transformation while leading a large team and operation Proven leader who enables the overarching strategy gets translated into functional strategies and drives results through creative sensibilities, strong business acumen and forward strategic thinking Proven track record driving change, innovation and service excellence Proven experience working in a highly collaborative matrix environment Proactive focus on anticipating diverse needs of our Global consumers and clients and ability to translate these needs into highly relevant and meaningful Guest and client experiences Proven leader who recognizes, retains and invests in the development of talent and the growth and satisfaction of a geographically dispersed teams Demonstrated ability to build and foster relationships with cross functional partners and to lead in a collaborative style as well as communicate in an engaging impactful manner Demonstrated strong communication skills within multiple levels within an organization Demonstrated passion and commitment to diversity and inclusion including inviting diverse perspectives, fostering an inclusive work environment and supporting workforce diversity Possess unquestioned ethics and integrity Preferred Qualifications Proven experience working in a global business structure 5+ years demonstrated executive sales experience within the groups/convention industry Required Education BA/BS Degree or comparable work experience Preferred Education MBA Additional Information Disney is an equal opportunity employer.
