Positions in this function are responsible for
first-level response and resolution of escalated issues with external
and internal customers. Responsible for the overall delivery of benefits
and services by providing support and guidance to existing and
potential customers to ensure continued membership.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Oversight of all aspects of the Travel Insurance Services Department including Management of the Insurance Service Team and the overall processes and function of the department.
  • Consistently present and implement new ideas to improve the daily administrative functions of the department to optimize growth and development of the team.
  • Provide Account Support in relation to preparing the annual budget for the Insurance Services Department.
  • Facilitate periodic program reviews with clients (monthly, quarterly and/or annually).
  • Quote, sell and implement small group insurance accounts.
  • Work with designated insurance underwriters as well as the Sales team to quote large, non-scholastic groups.
  • Manage all aspects of the insurance carrier business relationships.
  • Oversee sub-producer licensing and appointments with insurance carriers.
  • Manage and maintain all resident and non-resident internal producer licenses for Insurance Services, Client Relations and Sales.
  • Manager all state requests for MEDEX Insurance Service TPA licensing.
  • Provide expertise in superior customer service support to customers.
  • Anticipate client needs and educations requirements in order to set appropriate expectations.
  • Identify and resolves operational problems in a timely manner using defined processes, expertise and judgment.
  • Assist in the investigation of claim/and or customer service issues as identified and communicate resolution to customers.
  • Proactively reach out to the clients throughout the year to continually strengthen the relationship and identify opportunities.
  • Present services and program review for clients in a large and small group setting.
  • Own all aspects of the renewals working with Underwriting, Claims, Legal, Marketing, IT and Sales.
  • Maintain accurate account information in customer data base.
  • Provides training to internal team members to understand the client's specific needs.
  • Assets for consideration would include:

  • Coordinates, supervises and is accountable for the daily activities of business support, technical or production team or unit.

Requirements

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or 4 years equivalent experience
  • 2+ Years of Management Experience
  • 3+ Years of Managing Broker Relationships
  • 3+ Year of Insurance Experience
  • Accident & Health Producer License
  • 3+ Years of Direct Account Management Experience
  • Intermediate Proficiency with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Assets:
  • Experience working with large
    individual group programs and large college and scholastic
Soft Skills:
  • Comfortable presenting in a group setting
