We have a full-time/part-time opening for a Outreach Associate.
Must be able to work various shifts per week.
Requirements
Manpower is seeking an Outreach Associate for a 4 month project with a national association in Washington, DC. The right candidate will be responsible for:
*Writing and editing news, feature stories, website content, printed outreach materials, and social media
*Creating flyers, brochures, and other materials as required
*Creating and executing communication plans for events and programs
*Coming up with potential ideas for stories
*Providing support for event planning
*Creating and editing press releases
The right candidate will have the following qualifications and skills:
*BA in Journalism, PR, Communications, or a similar field
*Excellent professional writing and communication skills
*2+ years of PR, outreach, or communications
*Experience writing online pieces and in social media sites, including Twitter and Facebook
*Proficiency in Microsoft Office
*Familiar with HTML and Dreamweaver
