VIP Staffing is now recruiting for a top manufacturing company dedicated to producing industrial Co2 and liquefied natural gas units. Our client is a world leader in cryogenic plant design and fabrication and supplying fully integrated modularized plants all over the world.
We are currently seeking experienced qualified candidates for Maintenance Technician. This position is Day Shift and starts Monday!

Job Duties:
* Perform minor and major repair of all buildings and equipment
* Inspect power tools for safe operation and make repairs when necessary
* Perform maintenance and use company tracking system to document
* Replace broken windows; repair doors, door locks and closets
* Operate a forklift, scissor, boom when properly trained and certified
* Install electrical wiring and equipment; new electrical services, wiring during remodeling projects; replace and repair wiring as needed
* Repair electrical equipment and control circuits; replaces faulty electrical switches
* Repair electrical locks and control panels to maintain building security
* Respond to emergency maintenance requests as required
* Assist with the renovation / remodeling of buildings; repair plaster and drywall; paint building structures
* Perform LOTO procedures when working on any and all electrical and mechanical components
* Create estimates for supplies, repair parts; order parts as needed
* Maintain and service the plant emergency generator
* Conduct inspections as required by Net facilities
* Perform supervisory role in the absence of the section lead / supervisor
* Conduct safety briefings to contractors prior to allowing on the plant floor
* Perform safety briefing to section personnel and ensures required JSA is completed prior to any job initiation
PLEASE NOTE: Daily job responsibilities / functions to include, but not limited to the above. Other duties may be assigned to include any maintenance level 1 or 2 job requirements.
Eligibility Requirements:
* High School Diploma / GED
* Minimum 2 years of responsible experience
* Valid Texas Driver's License
* Ability to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear
* Ability to climb or balance
* Ability to sit; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
* Ability to regularly lift and /or move more than 50 pounds
* Ability to meet specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
* Willingness to frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts
* Willingness to occasionally be exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; high places; outside weather conditions; risk of electrical shock; and vibration
* Ability and willingness to be exposed to moderate to occasionally loud noise levels in the work environment
* Skilled in the use of hand and power tools and a working knowledge of production type equipment (well saws, cranes, welders, etc.)
* Ability to read and comprehend complex instructions, correspondence, and memos
* Ability to write correspondence
* Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the organization
* Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
* Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to interpret miscellaneous drawings and schematics
* Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
* Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
