We continue to grow and expand our services to meet the demands of the community for inpatient psychiatric beds, and currently have immediate need for a strong FT Admissions Clinician 8a-8p Thur/Fri/Sat , and PRN Admissions Clinicians.

The Admissions Clinician:

-Provides telephonic and in-person risk assessment and crisis intervention, initial contact with referral sources and potential patients

-Coordinates the referral and intake process

-Determines appropriate level of care

-Facilitates the admission process

-Maintains communication with referral sources, families, patients and unit staff

-Has responsibility for the timely processing of inquiry/referral calls and walk in/scheduled comprehensive clinical assessments and ensure their referral to the most appropriate service

-Helps to coordinate and process each admission to the hospital

Education/Training: Master's Degree in Human Service field required (e.g. Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, etc.)

Experience: Experience working in an acute care psychiatric setting strongly preferred. Experience in psychiatry evaluation, triage, and crisis intervention is highly desirable. BLS Required.

Licensure/Certification: LCSW, LPC, LPA or LMFT or active provisional license required CPI Certification CPR Certification
