Scheduling Coordinator
Are you a people person? Do you have excellent customer service and communication skills? We are looking for a compassionate, reliable and dependable candidate to add to our homecare office staff. This person must be committed to the highest of quality standards of integrity. This position requires that the employee have high organizational skills and have the ability to solve problems in a fast paced environment.
Qualifications:
• Associate Degree in healthcare of Office Technology/Management or 2 years related experience
• One year experience as a scheduling coordinator or work history in a healthcare office setting.
• Must be courteous and greet the public, clients and caregivers in a professional manner.
• Manage multiple telephone lines and complete assigned tasks in a timely manner.
• Must be detail oriented, able to multitask, and work at a fast pace.
• Microsoft Office, Outlook and office machine proficient.
• Possess genuine care and concern and interest in the senior population.
Responsibilities and Duties:
• Matching Clients with caregivers in a scheduling database.
• Communicating through telephone coordination with all necessary parties.
• Creating new schedules for new clients and caregivers.
• Covering client's schedules resulting from unavailable staff members.
• Must be able to adjust schedules to client and employees changing availability.
• Enter daily timesheets into database.
• Promote Quality Assurance through providing excellent communication and follow through
• Answering telephones and being available for a rotation of afterhours "on call" as scheduled.
• Maintaining a positive and interactive working relationship with Office Manager, Client Care Coordinator, HR personnel, clients and caregivers and the public.
• Assist in daily office operation and tasks
• All other duties as assigned by the Office Manager
