The role of the Pastry Cook II
BASIC PURPOSE: The Pastry Cook prepare sweet items, pastries, cakes, ice creams, sorbets, fruit compotes, chocolates and show pieces according to guest orders and banquet event orders in accordance with production requirements and quality standards while maintaining a safe, sanitary work environment.
Minimum two years culinary or related work experience and intermediate culinary knowledge is expected for this position. High school education, cooking school or culinary institute education or equivalent experience is required. Candidate must have the ability to operate, maintain and properly clean sheeter, ovens, proof box, robotcoup, and mixer.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays. This position does require authorization to work in the United States.
