Wyndham Hotel Group is currently searching for a dedicated Senior Marketing Manager of Hotel Marketing Services for franchised properties based in our corporate headquarters in Parsippany, NJ and reporting to the Director of Field Marketing. This exciting new role will be part of the Hotel Marketing Services team and will be responsible for executing marketing initiatives on behalf of a portfolio of individual beta franchised hotels. In addition, this individual must clearly identify successful initiatives and closely analyze data for those initiatives in order to ultimately build the infrastructure for a Hotel Marketing pay-for-service model for our franchisees.
The Senior Marketing Manager of Hotel Marketing Services' daily responsibilities are, but not limited to:
Identify problem areas, implement marketing solutions, and maximize efforts towards driving revenues.
Partner with Ops, Sales, Revenue Management, and Finance, to assess the needs of each property.
Work in collaboration with other WHG corporate marketing, including Brand Marketing, Loyalty Marketing, Public Relations, and eCommerce teams to leverage brand and loyalty channels.
Based on needs, develop and own each property's strategic marketing/advertising plans.
Create and manage marketing and advertising budgets for each individual hotel.
Develop and implement property digital marketing strategy, which includes but is not limited to:
Conducting reoccurring audits of online presence
Offer creation
Executing integrated marketing campaigns
Coordinating the development and maintenance of independent site content
Initiating, evolving, and owning the on-property email marketing program(s)
Negotiating and cultivating partnership marketing opportunities
Facilitating cross-property (feeder) marketing
Managing SEM agency for unbranded paid search, remarketing, and display ads
Managing GDS and OTA advertising
Managing the properties' public relations efforts and public relations agencies
Managing the properties' social media efforts and social media agencies
Managing the properties' creative agency for online and offline advertising
Own, analyze, and contribute to the holistic property digital marketing report.
Travel to properties with regional team and attend end of month calls, forecast calls, etc. over the phone.
Based on the learnings from the beta properties, build a profitable Field Marketing organization that services WHG franchisees.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree. Marketing or Advertising preferred.
At least 5 - 6 years of experience in a related marketing position, with a high focus in digital marketing required.
Hospitality experience required and hospitality agency experience preferred.
Additional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Results driven and financially savvy
Ability to provide analysis of property reporting and data and produce strategies accordingly
Experience with budgets and expense management necessary
Proven success in online Marketing (i.e. media buying, SEO, SEM)
Strong written, verbal communication, and presentation skills
Experience managing multiple projects
Demonstrated ability to work under pressure
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Clear understanding of the hotel industry, preferably in a marketing capacity
