6 month contract with a global, well-known company with a headquarters in San Francisco, CA.
The purpose of this position is to provide eCommerce budget support for the development and management of the digital ecosystem for all of the company's brands. This position will report to the Director of Program Management, Ecommerce and work closely with all members of the eCommerce operations, technology, product management, marketing and merchandising teams as well as cross-functional business partners and external vendors.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required, Finance or Accounting major preferred
• Minimum 2 years experience, preferably in public accounting or corporate finance
• Understanding of financial reporting, accounting, controls and analytics
• Strong PC skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel
• Strong organizational skills: high attention to detail, consistent follow-through
• Ability to manage workflows within diverse peer and senior teams
• Excellent teamwork and relationship management skills
Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive view of overall eCommerce project budget status by tracking and forecasting expenditures and vendor statuses
• Manage status of global eCommerce vendor contracts
• Manage to cost savings targets by effectively managing contracts and developing strategies to reduce spend
• Identifying inefficient processes that can be modified and execute implementation
• Communicate and articulate month-end and quarter-end deadlines amongst various levels of management to properly recognize project expenses
• Comprehensive understanding of financial implications & compliance to company policy
• Manage group financial budgets and forecasts in alignment with key team members
• Act as key liaison with global and local finance and accounting teams
• Manage purchase order requests and estimates; ensure accurate completion of purchase requisitions to enable projects to proceed in a timely and efficient manner
• Manage communication with external vendors, Accounts Payable & Procurement to ensure payments are made accurately and in a timely manner
• Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure expenses are managed in compliance with accounting policy
• Maintain proper audit support for all transactions

Additional Qualifications

• Experience with financial database applications, preferably SAP
• Experience working globally.
• Ability to work across various cultural dynamics and develop effective working relationships with colleagues and clients across different geographies.
