Financial Analyst - Full-time

A successful Financial Analyst will have the following:

• Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in Finance, Accounting, or related field ; MBA, MS or related work experience a plus
• Understanding of budgets, profit & loss, NPV, GAAP analysis, financial reporting, and forecasting
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint with some knowledge of database basics and ERP systems helpful (e.g. Microsoft Access, SQL, Oracle, Essbase/Hyperion, etc.)
• Experience with or ability to work in a fast paced, high throughput environment with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
• Well-developed oral and written presentation skills, with the ability to summarize complex concepts into understandable and easy-to-follow presentation materials

Primary responsibilities fall in into the following categories:

• Strategic Financial Planning: Develop and maintain annual budget model
• Financial Analysis: Review monthly financial performance; provide recommendations and support to corporate executives; perform ad-hoc analyses related to cost-savings opportunities, capital expenditures, and other corporate initiatives
• Financial and Operational Performance Reporting: Prepare monthly financial reporting package for corporate executives, including analysis of variances in actual performance to expectations and operational key metric goals
• Forecasting: Build and maintain monthly forecasting models for key operational and financial performance metrics
• Complete other duties as assigned
