The DISH Indirect Marketing team is accountable for the strategy, growth, and development of all marketing initiatives for the DISH Authorized Retailer channel.  The DISH Indirect Sales channel is made up of over 4,000 national and local sales partners and drives almost half of DISH business every year. This is an exciting time to be a part of the DISH Indirect Marketing business as there is renewed focus on continuing to grow, expand and learn from the channel and focus on the local customers it supports.

This is a high-energy role for a well-rounded business professional that can hit the ground running and drive results immediately. This role is demanding given the dynamic market landscape and new marketing challenges, and will allow the right candidate the opportunity to make a big impact in a short time as they grow a critical channel for DISH.  A successful Marketing Specialist will have the following:

  • Ability to influence and collaborate across various functional groups including sales, marketing, finance, and legal, as well as external partners.
  • Strong interpersonal skills that encourage team partnership and promote enthusiasm, desire to win the business every day
  • Must be results oriented and have an understanding of metrics and data, as well as the ability to infer implications and make recommendations based on key information
  • Motivated to learn new platforms like ad-builder functionality, and deliver results with a high sense of urgency
  • Thrive in a fast-paced and ever changing environment with a high capacity to multi-task and handle tight deadlines on a daily basis
  • Bachelor’s degree from a top tiered four-year college or university required, two years of related experience

The Marketing Specialist provides ongoing marketing support for the Indirect Sales Channel. This includes communication with internal and external partners, and development of marketing materials to drive activation goals and meet local retailer needs.

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Execute creative tactic development to meet overall business goals and marketing objectives, including messaging consistency in market
  • Contribute to the growth of the DISH subscriber base by producing effective creative that aggressively drives new activations for the Indirect channel
  • Support marketing and external partner relationships, manage routing and approvals to ensure accurate and effective communications
  • Analyze key marketing data (sales, trends, consumer insights, etc.) that will inform the creation, development and execution of marketing projects
  • Financial responsibilities include budget management
