You asked for it, we got it! Universal Orlando Warehouse Drivers complete shipments by pulling, processing, loading and delivering orders. 

 Warehouse Drivers at Universal Orlando are responsible for:

• Preparing orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; placing orders in delivery area and on delivery vehicles.
• Completing deliveries by driving truck to and from warehouse and retail customers.
• Maintaining truck by completing preventive maintenance requirements; arranging for repairs, completing all logs and certifications.
• Maintaining inventory controls by collecting stock location orders and printing requests.
• Maintaining quality service by following organization standards.
• Maintaining safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat; maintaining clean shipping supply area; complying with all OSHA and company safety procedures, rules, and regulations. Completing reports by entering required information.
• Understanding and actively participating in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

To perform the role of a Warehouse Driver successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

• Consistent attendance and punctuality is required.
• High school degree or GED.
• 0-1 Year:  Required:  General Warehousing –Receiving, Shipping, and route deliveries.  3-5 Years: Preferred: Driving experience of 26’ box truck or larger; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Required:  CDL Class B or better with airbrake endorsement
• Will require a valid Florida state driver’s license
• Forklift Operation
• Ability to learn delivery locations and demonstrate ability to load trucks based on delivery schedule and route.

The physical demands described below are representative of those that must be met by an individual to successfully perform the essential functions of the Warehouse Driver job.

While performing the duties of this job, the individual is required to:

• Regularly (2/3 of the time or more) walk for prolonged periods (including ability to walk at a given pace that is predetermined by a moving sidewalk); talk; hear audible alarms, voice commands with background noise; use hands and fingers to grip, pinch, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; balance; repeat motions more than twice per minute; work in an environment subject to vibrations; lift up to 75 pounds with control; push up to 1000 pounds with control; use close vision with or without corrective lens. (clear vision at 20 inches or less); use distance vision with or without corrective lens. (clear vision at 20 feet or more); use peripheral vision (ability to observe an area that can be seen up and down or to the left and right while eyes are fixed on a given point); use depth perception (vision, ability to judge distances and spatial relationships); adjust focus (ability to adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus while in changing light conditions e.g., sunshine to indoor or dark conditions); work in varied light conditions including low or diminished lighting; maintain alertness and attentiveness up to 4 hours while working varying hours; maintain concentration/focus (e.g., ability to interpret the work environment and make decisions on predetermined operating policies and procedure).
• Frequently (1/3 to 2/3 of the time) stand for prolonged periods; sit for prolonged periods; reach, pull, push with hands and arms above/below head.
• Occasionally (1/3 of the time or less) climb stairs/ladders; work at heights for prolonged periods of time including heights with or without railings or over open pits greater than 4 feet; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; repetition-using an input device-a keyboard or mouse-in a steady manner; use color vision (ability to identify and distinguish colors); work in an environment with flashing lights including strobe lamps; use the ability to smell.

The work environment characteristics described below are representative of those an individual encounters while performing the essential functions of the Warehouse Driver job.

While performing the duties of this job, the individual is required to:

• Regularly (2/3 of the time or more) work in outdoor weather conditions to include direct sunlight, heat or cold; use a Forklift (sit down); use a stand up forklift or motorized pallet Jack; use a motorized company vehicle or a leased or personal vehicle for company business; be exposed to loud noise levels.
• Frequently (1/3 to 2/3 of the time) work in extreme cold (non-weather); work with oils/fuels.
• Occasionally (1/3 of the time or less) work in extreme heat (non-weather); work with compressed gas cylinders or tanks; work with toxic or caustic chemicals, hazardous chemicals, fluorescent lamps or batteries; perform maintenance or servicing of powerized (energized) equipment (pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical)  LOTO.
