The Property Systems Configuration Specialist will be responsible for collecting accurate information from Hyatt hotels implementing a new property based system and then ensure the database is created and configured in preparation for on-site training and go-live activities. Other key responsibilities will be to ensure consistency in setup/usage, adherence to standards and documentation creation. Will play critical role in communicating with the business leads, hotel operations and project team to ensure quality even post live
Position Responsibilities / Essential Functions
* Quality Inspect the incoming data workbooks
* Capture data configuration notes and questions from workbook
* Attend weekly meetings with the 3rd party resellers to stay in sync with international installations/configurations to ensure they are following Hyatt standards as well as answer questions regarding configuration and how to implement unique requirements.
* Conduct/Send out a post Implementation Survey to measure overall HotSOS experience. This information will be used during the 30 day post live check up
* Conduct a 30-day post live 'check-up' for all installations to evaluate hotel's usage, confirm configuration working at it's best, create suggestion list for ways to enhance experience etc... and then hold a call with the hotel champions to cover any items they find that needs attention.
* Be the first line of support for the trainers who have configuration questions or concerns. Ensure trainers are implementing consistently from a configuration standpoint.
* Be the first line of support for the resellers/vendors to implement configuration changes. Ensure the Resellers are implementing consistently from a configuration standpoint.

* Be the first line of support for revisit teams when they are on site and the hotel has HotSOS questions or follow-ups. They will then either resolve issues discovered or bring them to the attention of the proper team members to resolve (
* Focus on quality and consistency on projects where we have an active role in the quality of the configuration and usage. The position requires a very deep knowledge of the application and configuration as well as be able to understand how it fits in or impacts the hotel operation.
* Track database creation and then complete the basic database configuration per Hyatt standards using the knowledge gleaned from the workbook as well as the consultation meeting
* Ensure hotels adopt best business practices related to the use of Property Systems being deployed
* Demonstrate a commitment to Hyatt core values (included in all job descriptions).

Experience
* Preferred Hyatt operational or project experience in a leadership role
* Project Management with emphasis on business analysis
Education
* Associates Degree required
* Bachelor's Degree preferred
Computer Skills Needed to Perform this Job
* Competency with MS Applications, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Project
* Experience with Hyatt applications such as Opera, Reserve, HotSOS, etc... a major plus
Additional Comments and Requirements
* This position can be held by a remote employee working from their home office. Some occasional travel to hotel installations or the Hyatt corporate office for team meetings will e required but should not exceed 10% of scheduled time.
* Must be a team player who thinks globally - will often require early morning or late night calls to interact with hotels in other timezones
* A successful candidate will like to collaborate to introduce and manage change in hotel operations
* This is a fast paced position that requires excellent organization skills
* Successful candidates will be self-driven
* While most business will be conducted in English, having a second language is a plus
