A Prep Cook with Doubletree by Hilton is responsible for assisting the cooks in the preparation of all items for Food & Beverage standards in the hotel and convention centers continuing effort to deliver outstanding service and financial profitability.

What will I be doing?

As a Prep Cook, you would be responsible for assisting cooks in the preparation of all items for Food & Beverage standards in the hotel and convention centers continuing effort to deliver outstanding service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Supply assigned work station with all needed products and culinary equipment for prompt production

• Maintain cleanliness and comply with food sanitation standards at all times

• Prepares all the prep work for soups, salads, vegetables and breakfast

• Stores all food in refrigerated boxes including covers, labels, and dates, the proper containers to protect against waste and spoilage

• Stock and maintain designated food station(s)

• Practice correct food handling and food storage procedures according to federal, state, local and company regulations

• Ensures that all equipment in working areas is clean and in proper working condition to comply with Health Department regulations

• The starting pay is $10.50 per hour
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule that will include days, evenings, weekends and holidays
