Manufacturing Maintenance Mechanic - Direct Hire! A growing manufacturer in York is now hiring a Manufacturing Maintenance Mechanic! Draw upon your prior experience to ensure that all equipment is properly maintained - and have fun being part of a great team! Your duties may include: *Performing preventative maintenance on all manufacturing equipment *Conducting regular inspections of equipment to identify necessary repairs *Assisting in training Line Operators on safety programs that relate to maintenance *Recommending, evaluating, and installing new equipment *Reviewing and working towards reducing production downtime due to equipment issues *Coordinating and overseeing maintenance using outside vendors *Maintaining cleanliness of work areas *Responding to off-hours calls for building and equipment issues as needed The successful candidate will: *Have 2.5+ years of experience in maintenance and repair of production equipment *Have a valid driver's license with no restrictions *Be able to bend, stretch, reach, climb ladders, stand for several hours at a time, and occasionally lift 50lbs. *Work well individually and as part of a team *Be a graduate of a technical or trade school This is a full time, direct hire position.
