About this job

Store Manager will manage and maximize business strategies in order to drive revenue for the Bethesda store. Develop and lead team, increase business, and deliver the highest level of customer experience.

Major Responsibilities:

* Continually and successfully meet and exceed revenue targets.

* Maintain high level of Luna customer service and escalate issues as needed.

* Recruit, hire, and train staff.

* Write and deliver associate performance plans and individual developmental plans. Counsel, advise, and terminate as needed.

* Implement sales incentives and core selling tools for sales team.

* Ensure team meets in store stock levels.

* Identify hot and cold selling items and communicate to buying team.

* Ensure store meets company's high level of visual, merchandising, and inventory management standards.

* Plan and execute stockroom procedures.

* Partner with corporate team to manage and create marketing strategies and identify local community potential partnerships and opportunities in order to grow business.

* Attend meetings and functions related to specific store community.

* Develop programs for customer identification and appreciation.

* Ensure the staff meets company policy, procedures, and directives.

* Accurately complete and send store paper work weekly to corporate office.

* Schedule and participate in store housekeeping.

* Maintain and manage payroll hours as percentage of store sales.

* Schedule, brainstorm and execute weekly/monthly visual re-do's.

* Receive and check in inventory daily.

* Responsible for inventory control and shrink.
