The Sales Coordinator is a pivotal role supporting Large and Small Format California Region Sales managers with Trade Promotion Management (TPM), a forecasting, pricing and funding sales tool. This position reports to the Sr. Director, Retail Sales with a dotted line to the Finance Topline Director.
Major Task Responsibilities and key Accountabilities:
Partner with Retail Sales to provide TPM related support, ensure integrity of Off Ticket/Trade Spend Accruals and serve as Lead Project Owner support for CA region Key Account Manager (KAM) team.
Work with HQ Sales Transformation teams and Unity Analysts to improve the overall Off-Ticket process.
Assist the Finance Analyst team in managing bill back processing. Own the workflow of matching Key Account level invoices to promotions set up in the sales tool.
Assist KAM teams in managing the accrual process and closing out TPM accruals in a timely manner to ensure P&L accuracy
Provide secondary support for Off-Ticket accrual set up for customers not forecasting with TPM.
Ensure that appropriate business process controls are in place. Ensure adherence to PepsiCo fiscal and risk management policies and procedures.
Assist the Retail KAM team work through Headquarter accrual/funding audits and ensure the accuracy of the funding initiatives selected for each planning level.
Qualifications/Requirements Basic Qualifications:
High attention to detail and excellent organization
Excellent Communication and presentation skills (written and oral)
Strong analytical, processing and problem solving skills
Strong process improvement skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks, prioritize well
Proven ability to work under stressful time constraints
Able to analyze and solve problems with varying degrees of complexity
Ability to quickly resolve issues and develop relationships
Experience with TPM, SAP and ERT preferred for internal candidates
Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point
College degree preferred
