About this job

Provide coaching and leadership to the plant technical service and automated warehouse's hourly maintenance associates. The position requires team leadership in coordinating maintenance activities, equipment upgrades, following stringent quality procedures, ensuring safety policies and procedures are followed, and supporting all company contracts, policies, and procedures. Additionally, this position provides leadership with the implementation of a continuous improvement philosophy to insure the reliable performance of Packaging Operations systems and equipment.

THE ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS / KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THIS POSITION:

Lead Automate warehouse maintenance departments team associates for daily direction setting, removing obstacles, coaching behaviors, solving problems, supporting plant policies and developing training plans to support departments goals and objectives.

Lead in developing and implementing routine PM's and predictive maintenance routes for production lines to meet Phase 2 TPM requirements.

Lead the PM pillar BDA system and track to completion all countermeasures and apply reapplication.

Manage employee scorecard for maintenance to drive employee performance and compliance to new areas.

5Manage down day planning process and score-carding as required.

Develop Long range plans for maintenance cost reductions to support Loss Analysis plans for the site.

Manage and continue to improve the 5s system in maintenance dept. to support site wide goals and objectives

Effective technical problem resolution and countermeasure follow-up on a daily basis to the maintenance team.

Supervise and record automation parts inventory.

Qualifications:

Engineering or Business Degree preferred but not required.

5-7 years maintenance experience in manufacturing preferably food/beverage experience.

Experience with Microsoft software products including power point, word and excel. Ability to learn and manage Kronos time system SAP and CMMS system.

Experience with the following equipment: Automated Technology, Case packers, Accumulators, palletizers, and conveying systems, pumps, valves and Heat exchangers, etc.

Excellent communication, facilitation and influence skills.

Experience developing/coaching hourly and/ or salaried associates preferred.

Strong analytical skills and intellectual curiosity.

Basic Electrical & Instrumentation skill
