DescriptionIn this role, you'll take complete control of hiring, training, and developing a successful Account Executive team responsible for outside direct sales to business accounts within a local market. Your coaching skills will be absolutely vital to your entire team's success as your income and theirs will depend on your staff's productivity. Creative business generation skills and a gift for closing the sale are also crucial as you'll spend at least 70% of your time mentoring your staff in the field. Essential Functions
  • Interview, hire, train, and develop a staff of successful Account Executives
  • Conduct ongoing mentoring/coaching in the field
  • Implement key operational initiatives in the field while maintaining high ethical and procedural standards
  • Meet or exceed overall sales quota for your assigned region
  • Coordinate and run frequent sales meetings
  • Increase market share and achieve and exceed performance targets related to subscribers, revenue, churn and CPGA


Qualifications
  • 6+ years outside sales experience with at least 1 year of management responsibility
  • Strong coaching skills
  • Talent to confidently make presentations to large groups as well as one-on-one
  • Well-honed negotiation skills
  • A proven track record of high-yield, short sales cycle business markets sales success
  • Familiarity with basic HR/Recruiting processes in order to attract and retain top sales talent
  • Requires valid driver license and satisfactory driving record
  • Bachelor's Degree. Business, Marketing, Finance or related field or equivalent directly related sales leadership experience
