Grounds Crew/Landscaper We have a full-time/part-time opening for a Grounds Crew/Landscaper. Must be able to work at least 3 shift(s) per week and be available weekends. *no experience required. *Be authorized to work in the United States. *Must have reliable transportation. St. Clair Country Club is seeking full-time seasonal staff for the 2015 golf season. Recognized in 2012 as one of the Platinum Clubs of America, St. Clair Country Club is located 8 miles from Pittsburgh, in the south hills of Western Pennsylvania. Nestled on 265 acres of property, the club's facilities include an 18 hole championship golf course renovated by Keith Foster in 2007. In addition the club has a 9 hole terrace course along with a state of the art short game facility recently constructed in 2006. We are looking to fill positions immediately. This position works six days a week, with one weekday off typically Tuesday or Thursday. We are looking for candidates that are reliable, hardworking, and able to work both independently and with other members of the team. Part-time option is also available. Responsibilities: Walk mowing greens, tees, approaches Hand raking bunkers Flymowing bunker banks Weed eating, mulching, weed eating Assist with preparation of golf course to deliver an outstanding member experience everyday Collect and dispose of leaves, dirt, rubbish, and excess grass Work hours: Ability to work early mornings(6am start) Weekday and Weekend availability Overtime when needed Physical demands/environmental requirements: Continual walking, standing, stooping, bending, kneeling, and reaching Able to lift 50lbs and carry heavy objects repetitiously Work in varying climates and temperatures Safety: Operate tools and equipment according to instructed safety procedures Follow safety procedures and techniques to perform job duties, including equipment, lifting, climbing, etc. Correct unsafe conditions in work area and report any conditions that are not correctable to your supervisor immediately Keep equipment and tools in safe operation condition Inspect and adjust tools and equipment for safety and efficiency and perform preventive maintenance as needed St. Clair Country Club is committed to equal opportunity in the terms and conditions of employment for all employees and job applicants without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, age, gender identity or gender expression, national origin, disability or veteran status.
