Job Description:
Must be reliable and enjoy working with children (K-12) in a classroom setting. Responsibilities include distributing and grading homework assignments, computer data entry, organizing and managing the classroom. Basic computer skills required. Training will be provided. Centers open on Monday and Thursday 3pm - 8pm, possibility for additional hours.
Requirements:
o Strong Math and Reading aptitude
o Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with adults and children
o Prompt and reliable
o Commitment to making a difference in the community and belief that all children have the potential to achieve academic excellence
o Flexible schedule with the ability to work afternoons/early evenings (2-3 times/week) - weekdays and Saturdays
o Participation in training sessions
o Experience working with young children, ages 3 - 6, will be given special consideration
