ROLE:
Individual will facilitate employee training with special focus on driver skills to include professional driving skills development, understanding of DOT compliance, DOT road testing. Ensure pallet jack proficiency for delivery, bulk and transport drivers.
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Driving Skills development (including CDL exam prep for merchandisers, warehouse, acct reps, etc.)
DOT Road Test administration
Post accident skills coaching
Develop driver coaching tools
Support ongoing driver certification process
Subject matter expert on Powered Industrial Truck (Pallet Jacks)
*SSubject matter expert on DOT Regulatory Compliance
Hours of Service
D&A Program
Pre Trip/Post Trip
DQF Process
HazMat Shipping
SKILLS AND TYPES OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Strong facilitation and communication skills
CDL Required
Prior CDL Experience
Ability to understand and become capable with our Sales tools and Handheld technology
Proficient in DOT requirements
Proficient in Defensive Driving techniques
Willing to travel
