About this job
Assist national employer client in the development and delivery of cutting edge onsite health improvement programs for employees.
Key Responsibilities:
-Become the site-specific "face of wellness" dedicated to improving the health of the employee population by:
*Providing face to face behavioral based health improvement coaching to employees
*Managing and overseeing the day-to-day delivery of established programs with direction from client and Account Director.
*Developing and facilitating educational programs (i.e., courses, workshops, special events, and interactive educational booths).
Other Responsibilities Include:
-Develop a program delivery plan and implementation schedule.
*Prepare and meet with instructors and vendors to organize logistical arrangements for courses and special events
-Assist with program promotion including development and/or distribution of promotional materials.
-Coordinate with other onsite coaches at other locations implementation of company-wide campaigns, programs and events.
-Share creative onsite ideas and activities with fellow colleagues.
-Develop and maintain files of community resources for augmenting program delivery when necessary.
-Use internal resources and tools and systems to ensure effective program delivery and evaluation.
-Coordinate and oversee wellness champion network of onsite employees.
-Prepare periodic reports of activities and program outcomes for client presentation
-Based on reporting and outcomes, implement and manage a "continuous quality improvement;" program and approach with measurable results
-Monitor expenditures to assure spending remains within client's specified guidelines.
-Participate in client meetings when appropriate.

-Review health screening and assessment results and assess readiness to change.
-Assist with goal-setting, goal progression and strategies to overcome obstacles and barriers.
-Provide tailored exercise, nutrition and lifestyle plans to each participant.
-Provide tailored exercise, nutrition and lifestyle plans to each participant.
-Build a personal coaching relationship that drives high program satisfaction, sustained engagement and measurably improved health outcomes of employees.
-Assist in the development of social support.
-Assist in chronic condition management (when applicable).
Candidates Should Meet the Following Requirements:
-Minimum of a bachelor's degree required in a health-related field, advanced degrees or specialty certifications in the area of: Registered Dietitians, Nutritionists, Exercise Physiology, etc. Three or more years of health promotion/wellness or other health-related program planning and delivery experience required. Certification with a professional, nationally recognized association (ACSM, AWHP, ACSM, APHERD, etc.), CPR and First Aid preferred.
-Strong communications skills, good face-to-face people skills; ability to confidently interact with senior management.
-Demonstration of successful leadership skills in past position(s)
-Highly motivated with independent problem solving and decision making ability.
-Ability to analyze, interpret and take action on program reports and metrics.
-Familiar with the legal and regulatory environment of the health management arena, such as HIPAA, ACA and ADA.
-Experience implementing wellness activities.
-Event planning, community organizing or campaign experience.
-Creative energy, excellent organizational and time management skills and the ability to maintain multiple projects.
-A predilection for teamwork and a penchant for shared achievement.
-Ability to operate a personal computer and applicable software.
-Comfort with online applications or social networking sites (Face Book or similar).
-A record of generating ideas, thinking creatively and showing results.
-Available for travel (if applicable).
-Fluent in Spanish is a plus.
