SUMMARY OF JOB PURPOSE

The incumbent in this position is responsible for providing superior service to both the internal and external customer. The incumbent is also responsible for providing prompt, accurate, and courteous dealing service to players in accordance with standard procedures and maintaining the integrity of the game.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

1. Provides superior customer service, positively affects interactions with customers and employees, and has the resiliency to deal with difficult customers in all types of business conditions and the ability to work harmoniously with co-workers.

2. Provides friendly atmosphere on games.

3. Deals, controls, and protects poker game in accordance with established policies and procedures.

4. Maintains continuous inspection of cards to ensure the security of the game at all times.

5. Exchanges gaming customers' currency for gaming chips.

6. Rake the pot after each complete round of betting and places all money into the drop box.

7. Reports suspicious or irregular activity on the game to the supervisor; advises the supervisor of any disputes or arguments that arise on games.

8. Informs supervisor of important or relative facts regarding specific players and their actions.

9. May act as a shill at the start of a game.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

Positions that have contact with the public require the ability to work in a noisy environment, and may be exposed to guests who use tobacco products. Also, non-public contact positions may be required to enter public areas from time to time, in connection with their duties, and may be subject to the same environment.

EDUCATION: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

EXPERIENCE: Previous gaming or dealing experience preferred

Must attend and pass dealing school

ABILITIES: 1. Fluent and literate in English

2. Able to deal cards and provide adequate game protection

3. Good math skills

4. Able to communicate effectively with the customer, as well as all levels of employees

Acts as a role model to other employees and always presents oneself as a credit to Caesars Entertainment and encourages others to do the same. Adheres to all regulatory, company and department policies and procedures.
