Medical Assistant, PRN, Urgent Care
Join our new facility opening soon!
Identifies and greets patients, escorts patients to exam rooms, identifies purpose of visit, prepares patient for exam by weighing patient, taking vital signs, and obtaining other appropriate data.
Assists providers with minor medical procedures, clinical tests, EKGs, splinting/casting.
Assists with front desk registration, payment collection and insurance verification etc.
Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant training program.
MA Certification strongly preferred
Phlebotomy and radiology experience a plus.
Experience in Urgent Care or Emergency Department preferred.
Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) DocuTAp, MS Word and Excel
Basic Life Support (BLS)
