Description

The DPS Creative Content Manager leads all development of creative content and creative strategy on critical DPS portfolio brands –Snapple, Mott’sand Hawaiian Punch. The role is responsible for leading and inspiring multiple creative agencies to develop integrated creative platforms, TV, digital creative (video banner ads etc.), providing strong strategic thought leadership to brand teams, collaborating with cross functional teams including media, insights, activation and agencies, leading the creative development and production process and flawless budget management.

This manager position interacts daily with senior stakeholders and requires strategic capabilities. Strong sphere of influence and exceptional collaboration are critical to the role. This position works closely with Brand and Media partners, media and creative agencies to drive integrated creative strategy and creative content that is measurable and impactful.

Position Responsibilities

  1. Creative Development: Manage development of strategic and creative content. Manage workflow of daily project details and creative direction for overall consumer communication and optimal creative solutions. Collaborate with Brand and Cross functional teams to develop impactful content that integrates brand messaging across multiple consumer touchpoints – including integrated creative platforms, TV, OOH, digital banners, print, on-line video, mobile and social brand communications. Manage timelines to develop and meet content strategy requirements.
  2. Agency Management: Work closely with agency partners to create impactful consumer messaging that tests well in copy testing, builds brand equity measures and drives the business. Drive integration across agencies to ensure messaging integration and efficient agency spend. Work closely with VP to help manage agency relationship, SOW and annual fee development.
  3. Budget Management: Lead Creative Team in gaining efficiencies in creative process and gained cost savings. Manage agencies and SOW efficiently to stick to strict budget guidelines and consistently strive to save production, talent and agency fee dollars.
  4. Creative Integration: Develop overarching creative platforms that can be integrated across all consumer touchpoints and across multiple screens. Develop digital strategy that ladder up to the overall brand strategy and master brief and include social persona, .com development and emerging platforms with benchmarks and measurements for success.
  5. Coaching: Develop direct report to master core content development with flawless execution and strong cross functional relationships at the ABM and Manager level. Increase their knowledge of the overall category landscape and DPSG business environment so recommendations and plans can be created to have the most impact on our business. Work with direct report to hone written and oral communication skills to influence peers and agency partners.
  6. Analytics: Analyze market research, in-market results and digital metrics to assess performance and generate future improvements. Incorporate this learning into future program development to continue to raise the bar.


Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
  • 5 years of Internet project management, including site development, online advertising, social media and email marketing, traditional advertising is a plus
  • 2 years of experience managing a social media presence (Vitrue, Facebook Analytics, etc…)
