A leading Lake County manufacturer in thermoplastic recycling seeks a General Laborer.
Temp-to-hire position
Rotating 12 hour swing shift 5 days off in a row paid once a month
Starting pay is $10.00 to $12.00 based on experience
Duties Include:
Read work order to determine requirements.
Stage work area and prepare boxes.
Add materials to equipment as required by the manufacturing process.
Load materials into equipment or vessels using hoses and vacuum systems.
Take samples of production as specified by process, labels them and brings to lab sample cart.
Remove materials from machines and place them in boxes or transfer them to silos, using hoses and vacuum systems.
Wrapping and prepare product for shipping.
Transfer boxed from work area using forklift.
Identify and label boxed production and samples, following instructions and labeling procedures.
Inspect processed work for contamination.
Clean equipment and work areas to ensure proper functioning and safe working conditions.
Requirements Include:
High school diploma or GED.
Strong manual dexterity.
Pre-screening employment testing.
Strong work ethic and outstanding attendance
