We're currently seeking a Designer for a six month contract opportunity in Richmond, VA. This is a great opportunity to work with one of the world’s leading suppliers of a wide range of products, solutions and services in the field of energy technology.
Qualifications:
Basic knowledge of mechanical, structural, and electrical engineering design drafting principles. Knowledge of applicable regulations, related codes, and standards. Basic knowledge of company design and operating standards. Abilities: to maintain and update DOT class location maps; to plan and schedule work independently; to lead and teach draftspersons. Strong Microstation/AutoCAD skills. Education Associates preferred Discipline Drafting & Design, Engineering Technology, Mechanical Drawing
Responsibilities:
Manually and electronically designs and drafts detailed drawings, such as wiring diagrams, layout drawings, and mechanical systems for portions of large construction projects. Develops detailed design drawings utilizing company standards and engineering notes and sketches. May visit construction/field sites.
