Software/Test Engineer

Must have an active Secret clearance to be considered for this position.

Job Summary: This LIMS development position will be supporting the Air Force Technical Applications Center's (AFTAC) Materials Production Laboratory (AMPL-1) with software development, software testing, and software documentation for an existing Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS). The candidate will be provided specific mission related tasking and be expected to independently develop the proper approach/solution.

Oracle database searches / integration

GUI development
JAVA Development
J2EE Server
SQL scripting
Oracle Database server knowledge
Good interpersonal skills
Effective communicator
Works well independently or as part of a group
Good writing skills, as there may be a requirement to write reports
Degree of judgment and multi-tasking associated with performing job duties
Contact with the customer/provide customer support (may be internal or external customer)
May conduct some research
Labvantage experience is desired
JasperReports experience is desired

Education:
BA/BS plus 5 years experience
OR
10+ years experience in lieu of degree
