SUMMARY
To help students learn about the content, production, and image aspects of sports television and to provide interns with on-the-job training in order to receive college credit for graduation.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
Assist with studio, program, and promotional productions, asset gathering, archival, and more.
Assist with remote field events including set-up, fan interaction, strike, troubleshooting of equipment, etc.
Compile and edit video using Adobe Premiere or Final Cut.
Design or operate simple graphics using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, After Effects, etc).
Go on assignment with Video Journalists to learn production skills.
Shadow various other studio positions to see how equipment operates.
QUALIFICATIONS
To qualify for this internship, applicants are encouraged to provide a portfolio or website of related work and must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The responsibilities listed are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or GED.

Must be currently enrolled in a communications and/or journalism program at an accredited college or university.
