Job Description
Procures the appropriate speciment in a safe, accurate, and professional manner with the proper technique. Oversees referred testing, including laboratory tests, Department of Transportation specimens, and pathology and cystology specimens. Perform waived tests by established procedures in an accurate and timely manner to ensure accurate results to facilitate diagnosis and treatment. Accurately perform quality control procedures in a timely manner to assure accuracy and reliability of test results. Performs department maintenance in a timely manner to ensure efficient operation of the department. Perform additional job responsibilities as assigned. Perform diagnostic x-ray examinations (St. Peter Clinic only). Participates in activities inside and outside of department, including committees, special events, system initiatives, continuing education.
Basic Qualifications:
Experience: Experience working in a medical field preferred. Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
License or Certification:
Licensure & Certification: X-ray Operator certification required, applicable to St. Peter location only.
Exemption Status: Non-exempt
Hours/Pay Period: 80
Schedule Details: Days- Varying shift start times vary from 5am to 930am. Weekends and holidays are at 5am start time.
Weekend Schedule: Rotating Weekends and Holidays
Compensation Detail: Minimum hourly rate is $14.61
