Genesis HealthCare's Rehabilitation Center of Raymore is a 160 bed licensed Skilled Nursing Facility located at 600 E. Sunrise Drive in Raymore, MO providing an 80 bed Long Term care Unit as well as a 30 bed Express Recovery Unit dedicated to individuals looking for short term rehab services. The 30 bed Traditions Unit is devoted to memory care. The Rehabilitation Center of Raymore is both a Bronze and Silver AHCA/NCAL winner. We currently have a position available for a Director of Nursing. We are seeking an RN who is professional customer service driven, provides active participation on the floor, is experienced with LTC regulations, and is goal oriented, positive, friendly and able to deliver a clear and concise message. An on-site physician, nurse practitioner, and ADON along with the staff of nurses, dieticians, occupational, physical, and speech therapists provide top notch care for both short and long term care patients. Job Description: The Director of Nursing is responsible for administration of nursing service in the center. He/she directs, plans, and coordinates service activities of professional nursing and auxiliary nursing personnel in rendering customer care. The Director of Nursing interprets center policies and regulations to all nursing personnel and ensures compliance, as well as analyzes and evaluates nursing and related services rendered to improve quality of customer care and to better utilize staff time and abilities. The Director of Nursing also ensures the provision of in-service training programs for nursing personnel. DN01

Qualifications:

SPECIFIC EDUCATIONAL/VOCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: The Director of Nursing Services must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing, college or university with a current registered nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing. A minimum of five years full-time or equivalent clinical experience with at least two years experience in nursing supervision in the long-term care setting is required. EEO/AA, M/F, Vet, Disabled
