Our Default Servicing team engages, understands and advises consumer real estate customers of available solutions to resolve mortgage delinquencies.

Responsible for a group of medium- to high-level risk bankrupt accounts and applying Bankruptcy Code requirements to those accounts Maintain a portfolio for 200 to 500 loans, and assist in taking incoming calls from debtors and attorneys Interface with attorneys to ensure legal guidelines are followed when filing motions against debtors Charged with reviewing and maintaining disbursements from court trustees May be responsible for account analysis May recommend foreclosure, repossession and/or other outside action May negotiate with attorneys and/or debtors where permissible May work directly with court personnel May file appropriate documents/forms directly with court May work on special projects Review accounts closely for processing of administrative extensions or reschedules to comply with court ordered plan treatment Demonstrate ability to review the account and make sound business decisions Help others to recognize the importance of these decisions and the process used to make them May provide direction to less-experienced staff Support management decisions. 3+ years financial industry experience including 1+ years bankruptcy experience; or 2+ years bankruptcy experience. Exceptional organizational skills, strong oral and written communications skills, basic negotiating and analytical skills Requires high degree of professionalism Must be a team player and desire to be part of a self-managed team Ability to be a coach and a role model to all team members Demonstrated interpersonal communications skills such as understanding, influencing, assessing and most important, the ability to be fair and equitable while providing excellent customer service Requires keen attention to detail This position requires compliance with all mortgage regulatory requirements and Wells Fargo's compliance policies related to these requirements including acceptable background check investigation results. Successful candidates must also meet ongoing regulatory requirements including additional screening and required reporting of certain incidents.

3 year mortgage/banking and/or 2 years of call center experience Working knowledge of Bankruptcy proceedings and/or working with vendor attorneys Knowledge of CPI / LPS / MSP / Excel / VendorScape / PACER and Core Logic Bachelor's degree preferred Reconciliation; payment history experience Underwriting experience SC-Fort Mill: 3476 Stateview Blvd - Fort Mill, SC
