Sales Coordinator - Full-time

Hotel Indigo New Orleans Garden District

This is an Interstate Hotels and Resorts Position.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' experience in a hotel sales environment preferably in the Greater New Orleans area market.  Working knowledge of IHG Opera and Holidex systems.  Duties and responsibilities will include the following:

* Prepare contracts for Director of Sales & Sales Managers, and handle all follow up needs with clients.

* Interact with customers both internal and external.

* Handle incoming inquiries and customer questions, problems, concerns etc.

* Contract distribution for transient accounts & groups.

In addition to performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions, with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by the supervisor based upon the particular requirements of the hotel.

The preferred hours/days are Monday, Wednesday, Friday from 9am-5pm (full-time work week)
