Primary Responsibilities: 

Manage a team that generates revenue and savings
Reviews the work of others
Develops innovative approaches and strategies
Anticipates customer needs and proactively develops solutions to meet them
Capable direct client management
Serves as a key resource on complex and/or critical issues
Solves complex problems and develops innovative solutions with broad impact on the business
Provides explanations and information to others on difficult issues, both within the team and other departments
Develops and leads projects that drive process improvements
Manages and is accountable for 4 - 5 supervisors with 15 - 20 direct reports each
Serves as an operational leader in client implementations  
Participants in the development of business strategy
Provides input to forecasting and planning activities
Adapts department plans and priorities to address business and operational challenges
May oversee work of exempt and non- exempt personnel
Sets direction, resolves problems and provides guidance to team members
Works with key business partners such as client services, finance, and UHC PI
Ensure client expectations are met relative to operational performance (ie. Service level agreements, state & federal mandates)
Monitor performance using dashboards and key metrics and provide corrective actions to improve performance when needed
Owns an end to end process

Requirements


Required Qualifications: 


Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience  

People management experience

Project management experience  

An understanding of waste and error principles and health insurance 

Candidate must be highly organized with effective and persuasive communication skills 

Exceptional telephone and client service skills; ability to interact professionally in challenging situations 

Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills; ability to exercise good judgment 

Exceptional telephone and client service skills; ability to interact professionally in challenging situations 

Open to change and new information; ability to adapt behavior and work methods to changing organization and integrate best practices 

Proficient in MS Word and Office
