The Manager of Executive Compensation will manage the development, implementation and administration of Hilton Worldwide's global executive compensation programs, including the annual and long-term incentive (LTI) programs.

What will I be doing?


The Manager of Executive Compensation will conduct and/or oversee the participation in compensation surveys and competitive benchmarking analyses. The Team Member will gather, research and analyze internal and external data, market trends and statistics to aid executive compensation recommendations and special projects.


 


Other key priorities are listed below:

  • Develop and maintain databases, executive job structures, tally sheets, analyses, projections and reporting tools in support of the above mentioned programs

  • Manage the annual year-end performance management for executives including merit, bonus and LTI recommendations

  • Develop executive offers and severance packages

  • Support annual proxy data, analyses and tables

  • Develop communication materials and supporting analysis for presentations to the Compensation Committee and senior executives

  • Plan, develop and manage internal communications related to executive compensation and global LTI programs

  • Collaborate with HR, Finance, Legal and other business partners in implementing compensation policies

  • Maintain a working knowledge of legal, regulatory and legislative treatment, requirements and impacts to executive compensation programs

  • Partner with third-party vendors

  • Support the documentation of executive compensation programs for external and internal audits

  • Prepare ad-hoc compensation and financial analyses and provide any other support to the executive compensation team as needed

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and writing skills

  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage and execute tasks in a fast paced environment

  • Must be able to work with highly sensitive and confidential information

  • BA/BS Bachelor's Degree in a Business-related field with emphasis in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics or Accounting

  • A minimum of seven (7) years of experience working in the field of Compensation with a minimum of five (5) years focused on Executive Compensation

  • A minimum of seven (7) years of professional experience

  • Experience in data collection and analyses

  • Experience with job evaluation, benchmarking methodology, and compensation administration

  • Working knowledge of executive compensation and HRIS systems and practices

  • Demonstrated analytical skills and the ability to perform complicated financial analysis and modeling related to the compensation program

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

  • Solid knowledge and experience working with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint

  • Ability to travel as needed

It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

  • MA/MS Master's Degree

  • A minimum of ten (10) years of professional experience

  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP)

  • Certified Executive Compensation Professional (CECP)

  • Experience working in a global organization

  • Experience using PeopleSoft and SuccessFactors

  • Experience supporting Deferred Compensation Plans

  • Experience supporting Long Term Incentive and Equity plans
