WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
We are seeking to fill the position of Retail Guest Services Supervisor at American Girl Place , the award-winning retail and entertainment destination located in the heart of Midtown Manhattan.
American Girl Place offers a premium, one-of-a-kind experience for girls and their families. This position will be responsible for:
• Providing prompt, efficient and exceptional service within our customer-oriented environment in order to insure an excellent experience at American Girl Place for all customers
• Preparing department work schedule
• Partnering with the Visual and Operations team in order to maintain visual standards
• Assisting with the training, development, coaching, and supervision of department staff
Experience, Education & Skills
Requirements:
• Minimum two years’ work experience in retail or service industry
• Prior supervision and/or leadership experience is required
• Strong customer service background a must
• Ability to work a flexible work schedule Monday through Sunday that includes evenings and holidays
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Experienced user of Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word
• Must enjoy children and possess a warm and friendly demeanor
