Senior Financial Analyst - Full-time

A successful Financial Analyst will have the following:

• Bachelors degree from a four-year college or university plus 6+ years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• MBA/MS-Finance, with 2 to 4 years of related experience strongly preferred
• Well developed oral and written presentation skills, with the ability to summarize complex concepts into understandable and easy-to-follow presentation materials
• Ability to work with mathematical concepts (statistics, probabilities, algebraic expressions, etc.)
• Ability to define problems, seek and collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract or concrete variables
• Experience with or ability to work in a fast paced, high throughput environment. Ability to negotiate and communicate effectively with all levels of management; excellent teamwork skills with ability to establish productive working relationships with other departments and personnel

The Senior Financial Analyst position is within the DishOne Finance team located in Provo, Utah.  The role is responsible for design and implementation of financial and operational cost analyses and models, budgeting and forecasting, long term strategic planning support, assisting in the creation and execution of sales agreements between DishOne and the DishOne sales force, and recommending and implementing methods for improvement.

Primary responsibilities fall into the following categories:

• Perform financial and strategic analyses, in collaboration with the operating and sales teams, to improve performance for DishOne. In conjunction with DISH and DishOne management, strategize and develop sales agreements between DishOne and DishOne’s sales force
• Provide monthly financial performance updates to DishOne management, DISH Finance and DISH C-Level Executives
• Complete company budgets through development and design of budget models, interaction with various departments, and communication of objectives and progress to DishOne management and DISH’s CFO
• Interpret financial data and communicates conclusions and recommendations to DishOne management. Report/analyze DishOne’s cash balance and future cash needs.  As needed, produce additional cash funding analyses/requests to DISH Finance and DISH C-Level Executives
• Create and deliver financial presentations to DishOne management, DISH Finance, and DISH C-Level Executives. Develop financial reports to monitor key sales and operational metrics, interpret financial results and seeks out areas of concern and/or opportunity
• Provide DishOne management with financial reports on current performance by sales region and recommendations for targeted change to improve performance
