ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:Act as an expert resource for local fleet customers and maintenance vendorsExecute vendor quality sampling and inspection plan to measure response time and repair quality levelsInsure that service vendors are compliant with TWC Approved Standards for material and repair processes.Responsible for the data integrity and assist with data collection and management of fleet databasesReporting and analysis of financial data and KPI’s related to the vehicle maintenance function Aid in the analysis of service event frequency and open PO duration.Monitor accident repairs for timeliness and qualityReads and interprets materials, such as work orders, inspection manuals, and blueprints, to determine inspection and test procedures.Confers with vendors and others regarding inspection results, recommends corrective procedures and compiles reports of results, recommendations and needed repairs.Accountable for Time Warner Cable fleet brand image, cleanliness, body or paint damage, and maintenance of branding issuesResponsible for compliance to all applicable FMCSA, EPA, DOE, OSHA, DOT, State and local mandated regulatory activityManage tire activity; ensure that tire standards are met or exceeded, ensure that we are maximizing the use of retread products where available, and minimizing the tire program spendExecute the scheduled maintenance routines and measure compliance to the maintenance programRespond to repair approval requests in a timely manner during regular office hours, and within four hours for requests that arrive during off hours. Escalate vehicle or vendor issues to appropriate levels of management to insure problems are resolved in a timely fashion.Assist with ordering top off fluids and miscellaneous supplies at assigned vehicle locations Evaluate vehicle condition to assist in determination of repair or replace decisionsPhotograph each vehicle in their assigned inventory twice annuallyCommunicate and interact with end user groups at the supervisor, manager and director levelsQUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTSAn Associate Degree from an accredited college or university or 3 years of Fleet Operations experience with 500 – 2,000 vehicles.Knowledgeable in the use of core MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point). Must possess a Valid Driver’s License.PREFERRED SKILLS:The preferred candidate will have completed a degree program in Automotive Technology, Business or a related field and possess 5 years of Fleet Operations experience.Fluid Power Certification, Aerial Unit ANSI Training, Project Planning training, formal Quality management training is preferred.Contract management experience; working familiarity with current alternative fuel technologies; experienced and proficiency with FMS database and reporting tools. Advanced Excel Training.ADDITIONAL SKILLS: Performs well with minimal direct supervision; possesses high level of self-initiative and price sensitivity; strong sense of ownership and responsibility for assigned assets; excellent interpersonal and customer service skills; focuses on continuous improvement and is willing to be accountable for financial integrity, work quality and productivity. Familiar with fleet management software, and use of fact based data collection process to help guide fleet decisions.TRAVEL REQUIRED: 40 – 50%
