About this job
Patrols health system premises to maintain order, enforce regulations, and
ensure observance of applicable laws. Investigates security incidents, thefts,
& accidents; responds to calls & codes; performs dispatch duties; warns,
ejects, or arrests as appropriate; performs surveillance; and other security
duties as needed. HS diploma/GED and 1-3 months related training or experience is required. Must
possess a minimum of an unarmed state card/license and have had past experience
that demonstrates ability to obtain an Armed Officer card/license. In addition,
must have had Baton and chemical weapons training/certification by a Police
Academy or Licensed State Security Trainer.
