The Director of the HR Consulting Group will provide strategic HR solutions including talent maximization, workforce planning, etc. to a broad client group within Hilton Worldwide.  The Director of the HR Consulting Group will proactively build relationships with client groups; pursue in-depth business knowledge to be able to work across all HR core activities to support clients. Additionally the Team Member will also provide input into the continued development of the Global HR tool kit.

What will I be doing?
The Director of the HR Consulting Group will provide strategic HR solutions including talent maximization, workforce planning, etc. to a broad client group within Hilton Worldwide.  The Director of the HR Consulting Group will proactively build relationships with client groups; pursue in-depth business knowledge to be able to work across all HR core activities to support clients. Additionally the Team Member will also provide input into the continued development of the Global HR tool kit.
 
Other key priorities are listed below:
  • Partner with key global clients to develop firsthand knowledge of clients' short and long-term business goals and objectives
  • Build strong consulting relationships with key global clients and partners across the business
  • Identify critical focus areas for analysis, development, and implementation of integrated HR solutions that support the clients' global business strategy
  • Advise global clients on all HR general consulting activities recruiting, talent management, managing and exiting, as needed
  • Support key global clients regarding organizational structure or job changes including analyzing company information and making recommendations to ensure consistency for position descriptions, salaries, etc.
  • Create focused organizational development plans with business partners including workforce planning, talent management, performance management and succession planning
  • Proactively manage roll out of HR tool kit items for global clients ensuring that all are aware and educated appropriately
  • Work collaboratively with other members of the Global HR group to ensure the best service is delivered to our clients
  • Be dedicated to meeting and exceeding the expectations and requirements of the client; act with customers in mind; establish and maintain effective relationships with clients gaining their trust and respect  
  • Ability to define and analyze problems, identify root causes and the willingness to explore multiple options and information sources
  • Ability to direct collaborative efforts of direct reports and other resources throughout the Hilton Worldwide organization, including internal resources, external resources and other constituent groups as appropriate, with the aim of furthering Company goals
  • Ability to take initiative to identify, prioritize and implement all elements required for team to fulfill responsibilities in keeping with core strategic goals
  • Ability to assimilate new concepts and practices into position and the department
  • Provide effective training to subordinates for on-the-job training,  for policies and procedures, for departmental training topics and for professional development

  • BA/BS Bachelor's Degree
  • A minimum of four (4) years of Managerial experience
  • Ability to work independently

  • Ability to travel as needed
It is not a requirement but would be advantageous if you hold the following qualities and experiences
  • BA/BS Bachelor's Degree
  • A minimum of ten (10) years of professional experience
  • Experience with PeopleSoft and Success Factors
  • Global corporate experience
