Join our Technology PMO! Bring your SCRUM Master skills, technology experience and savvy to this organization and manage Global Retail Technology initiatives supporting our clients business success. Work collaboratively with business and technical team members to deliver high visibility initiatives via state-of-the art retail technologies. Strong candidates will have excellent traditional project management and SCRUM Master/Agile project experience with an ability to apply each appropriately to drive project success. Have an appetite for challenge and a mind for problem solving, a concise and insightful communication style when it comes to driving and leading teams to achieve dates, a good sense of humor in the face of ambiguity and an inherent ability to balance priorities. Role: Apply scrum/agile iterative development processes to drive on-time and on-budget delivery of global retail projects. Leverage risk and issue management, leadership courage and proactive / timely communications to safeguard project resources and direct corrective measures to ensure project success. Bridge communication between technology and the business through targeted communications and fostering open dialog. Monitor status, update work estimates, team velocity, and capacity. Manage resource gaps and acquisitions, engage resource managers for outsourced services as needed. Influence operational and executive leadership to create and maintain alignment around the project business objectives, measurable benefits and success criteria.

Notes from meeting with manager: - varied degrees of projects, need help with elevating projects in Agile environment- not a purest Scrum master- project reach is international- Canada or Europe. Need to have great people skills- take team to next level, what can the team do better? Take the project and run with it.

Summary of Experience
IT Project management and systems development methodologies and tools 8 years. Including multiple project experience managing with Agile methodology, as Scrum Master.
PM IT project-based roles, experience with global implementations involving translation and localization, building and leading distributed teams (8 years)
IT project management, including all elements of scope, time, cost, risk, quality, integration, procurement, human resources and communications (8 years)
Working with business areas to prioritize requirements and select appropriate technology to deliver effective business solutions and achieve business benefits (5 years)
Retail Industry experience is nice to have
Jira and TFS experience preferred GitHub experience is nice to have
Ability to maneuver through tough political situations. superior communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate to diverse audiences and all levels of the organization, able to bridge communication gaps between technology and business users, and able to foster open team communication. Ability to think creatively. Knowledge of basic business principles and company goals and objectives. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to build cross-functional project teams and protect valuable team resources. Ability to flex leadership style to accommodate a wide variety of team member styles and leverage team diversity.
