About this job
Basic Purpose:
Creates a strong sense of arrival for hotel, restaurant and banquet guests by welcoming them to the hotel and safely parking their car in the hotel or local garage. Assists Door Staff by opening front door when not parking cars. Assures that guests' departure is swift by retrieving guests' cars in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
1. Excellent communication and organizational skills; reading, writing, and oral proficiency in the English language
2. Cheerful/Accommodating/Professional demeanor, excellent human relations skills
3. Able to drive standard and automatic vehicles; Must have a clean driving abstract
4. Able to work on feet, prance/run on hard surface for majority of shift
5. Able to do heavy pushing/pulling/lifting (60+pounds)
6. Can work efficiently and effectively in a fast paced demanding environment
7. Knowledge of Maui required
