Description

Senior Network Engineer & Architect

The Network Services & Latin America Manager’s primary responsibility is to oversee the provision of Network and Telecom Services (Data, Voice and Wireless) at Dr Pepper Snapple Group. This includes managing delivery of the managed services outsource provider of Telecom and hosting. Senior Network Engineer with 6 continuous years in design, architecture, implement and troubleshoot data networks, with strong hands-on experience in Routing & Switching, Security, Wireless and Data Center.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Network Infrastructure Architecture and Design. Work to develop a long term network services strategy that addresses the Global DPS telecommunications footprint that enables our business to grow and stabilize while being cost-efficient.
  • Manage the implementation of aforementioned strategy and ultimate operate it to stability
  • Manage service delivery of all Network and Telecom Services including sourced solutions and Partner with business-facing IT stakeholders on new demand for Network and Telecom Services
  • Identify and oversee execution of continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., network performance improvement, monitoring and innovation)
  • Support cross-functional IT operational processes (e.g., critical incident management)
  • Participate in Change Control Board and approval processes
  • Work jointly with and across all Infrastructure and IT operational integration points
  • Coordinate local and vendor support participation in problem response and root cause analysis
  • Report on and manage service provider metrics and operational performance
  • Develop and manage Network and Telecom Services capacity requirements and budget implications.
  • Manage $15,000,000 budget and cost associated with the Telecom and Infrastructure services
  • Direct research on potential technology solutions and implementations in support of new initiatives, opportunities, and procurement efforts


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree from an Accredited University OR High School Diploma/GED and 9 years of experience designing, implementing and troubleshooting various Network Technologies and managing large-scale technology projects
  • 6 years experience designing, implementing and troubleshooting various Network Technologies and managing large-scale technology projects
  • 6 years experience participating in the development of budgets, financial statements, financial reporting, and financial planning
