About this job

This position carries the responsibility of providing therapeutic services to clients of the Outpatient Department. As a senior staff member,this person is responsible for guiding and consulting on clinical matters as well as assisting the supervisor with administrative duties such as patient scheduling, attending case staffing, or back up responsibilities in the absence of the supervisor. This clinician is expected to function in a more independent capacity to the level of his/her expertise. Requires a Master's Degree in a related field (i.e., psychology, social work, etc.) An understanding of clinical concept and principles is required.

Exercise judgment in the collection, organization, hypotheses generating and tasking in assessing the individual, family, and group dynamics of people experiencing distress. Develop and execute an intervention strategy in response to analysis. Mental status examination, psychosocial history, diagnosis, treatment planning to bring about effective clinical interaction. Supervisor availability for consultation is consistently available.
