We invite you to contact us in regard to a position as
a Credentialing Coordinator at our home office located in Vernon
Hills, Illinois. This position reports to the Credentialing
Manager.
Review and track requests to add/remove practitioners
to/from facilities within assigned divisions Mail or e-mail application materials to appropriate
practitioners, payers and clients; review returned applications for
completeness, follow up on outstanding or additional information needed, and
perform primary source verifications Follow up with non-responsive practitioners and assist with
credentialing process to obtain credentialing packets and other documentation Organize and distribute each credentialing file to
appropriate facility and communicate with facility governing body to request
governing body vote Maintain confidential files on all provider applications and
other supporting documentation Enter application information into the SyMed medical
software database and maintain current information and ongoing updates so
accurate reports can be generated to ensure that other web applications are
providing accurate physician data Enter, update, track and monitor data in the SyMed
Credentialing software database for accuracy and timeliness, and handle the
resulting necessary work assignments Distribute all letters as appropriate to payers and any
supporting payer relationships Serve as a liaison between the credentialing department and
facilities to assist with education of and compliance with medical staff bylaws Other duties and responsibilities as assigned including but
not limited to: Work overtime with little or no notice as needed Attend team meetings, phone conferences, and training as
needed Know, understand, and follow teammate guidelines, employment
policies, and department or company procedures Consistent, regular, punctual attendance as scheduled is an
essential responsibility of this position

Associates of Science degree or 2-4 years of combined
education and credentialing/contracting experience within a healthcare
environment required Basic computer skills and proficiency in MS Word, Excel,
PowerPoint and Outlook required Experience in database maintenance and Internet applications
preferred Minimum 1-2 years experience providing excellent service to
internal/external customers

practices to develop and manage outpatient centers that provide focused and
coordinated vascular access procedures to patients receiving hemodialysis
treatment for end-stage renal disease (ESRD). We currently manage more
than 60 physician-owned vascular access centers where we provide physician practices
